In the Still

In the silence, in the still, when I come with open hands and quiet heart,
my soul drinks deep the Presence of almighty God and I am filled,
nourished, drenched in perfect peace.

~ Cindee Snider Re

whatever state I may be in, therein to be content.
~ Helen Keller

For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him.
~ Psalm 62:5
